Tetra Tech Inc. said Tuesday that it was awarded a $40 million contract to design and build a 152-megawatt wind farm outside Woodward, Okla.
The Pasadena engineering company will provide engineering, procurement and construction services to CPV Keenan II Renewable Energy Co. for the Keenan II Wind Farm. Tetra Tech previously completed the environmental and permitting work for the project.
The facility will be adjacent to a 44-turbine wind farm that Tetra Tech recently completed. Siemens USA will furnish and erect 66 2.3-MW turbines for Keenan II. Tetra Tech is responsible for all other aspects of the wind farm design and construction, including electrical collection, transmission lines, grid connection, and wind turbine foundations.
