San Francisco-based Bank of the West, has promoted Steve Beilinson to commercial credit officer for the regional banking group at the bank’s downtown L.A. office. Previously, Beilinson was a senior vice president at the bank.

Comerica Bank has named Gurgen Hakobjanyan assistant vice president at the Brand and Milford banking center in Glendale. Previously, Hakobjanyan was an assistant banking center manager at the bank’s Hollywood branch.

Steven Hall & Partners, a New York-based executive compensation consulting firm, has named James V. Hughes Western region managing director in the firm’s West L.A. office. Previously, Hughes was senior managing director of the downtown L.A. office of Pearl Myers & Partners, a New York-based executive compensation consulting firm.


University of Phoenix, a Phoenix-based operator of secondary education programs and campuses, has named Michael Geraghty director of academic affairs for its Southern California Campus group. Previously, Geraghty was director of academic affairs for its South Florida Campus group.
