Ticketmaster and Priceline.com Inc. on Thursday announced a partnership in which Priceline.com will give Ticketmaster’s online customers travel services for events they attend.

Under the partnership, users of Ticketmaster.com of West Hollywood will gain access to Priceline.com’s suite of travel services, including specially tailored hotel, airline, and rental car offers to accompany a customer’s live event ticket. Priceline of Norwalk, Conn., known for its “name your own price” booking services, also will offer published-price travel services with comparison charts, maps, city attractions and hotel and restaurant reviews.

Roughly 20 percent to 30 percent of Ticketmaster’s online customers travel to events, Ticketmaster said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“In securing this strategic business alliance with Priceline.com, we’ve further demonstrated Ticketmaster’s ability to leverage our leading and established online consumer ticketing and event information platform to drive marketing programs for strategic partners,” said Greg Consiglio, Ticketmaster senior vice president of business development.

Ticketmaster shares were up 5 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $5.81 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
