Real estate Web site operator Move Inc. said Tuesday that its board has appointed Robert Krolik as chief financial officer, effective July 20.

Krolik, 40, succeeds Lew Belote, who will stay on through Sept. 4 to assist the transition, the Westlake Village company said after the market closed. Move operates the official site of the National Association of Realtors.

Krolik has more than 18 years of consumer market and public company experience, according to Move. He most recently was vice president, global finance operations at eBay’s Marketplaces division, and earlier served as CFO at Shopping.com, DigitalThink and Karna LLC.

“He brings a unique financial and business perspective to the company that I’m confident will be invaluable as we move rapidly towards our next level of growth,” said Chief Executive Steve Berkowitz in a statement.
