Osborn Architects, a Glendale architecture firm, has named Tonya Dooley director of business development. Previously, Dooley was a marketing team leader in the downtown L.A. office of HNTB Architecture, a Kansas City, Mo.-based architecture and construction services firm.

Perkowitz+Ruth Architects, a Long Beach-based architecture firm, has promoted Alan Pullman, Branko Prebanda, Marios Savopoulos and Brian Wolfe to senior principals at its Long Beach office. They were previously principals.

Los Angeles Federal Credit Union, a Glendale-based credit union, has promoted John Dea to chief executive and Anthony C. Cuevas to senior vice president-chief operating officer. Previously, Dea was executive vice president-chief operating officer and Cuevas was vice president-chief operating officer at the credit union.

COMMUNICATIONS

Paolucci Communications Arts, a Palos Verdes Estates communications services firm, has promoted Starr Merten to senior art director. Previously, Merten was an art director at the firm.

Camelot Entertainment Group Inc., a Universal City entertainment production company, has named Jeffrey Giles vice president of worldwide distribution. Previously, Giles was an international sales director at Nu Image/Millennium Films, an L.A. entertainment production company.

Participant Media, a Beverly Hills-based entertainment production company, has named Bonnie Stylides senior vice president of business affairs. Previously, Stylides was outside counsel for Summit Entertainment, a Santa Monica entertainment production company.

Hasbro Studios, the L.A. entertainment arm of toymaker Hasbro Inc., has named Kathy Page vice president of production. Previously, Page was a vice president of animation at Sony Pictures Television.

HOSPITALITY

Portofino Resort & Yacht Club, a Redondo Beach hotel, has named Rosanna Harrison director of catering. Previously, Harrison was director of catering at Evans Hotels, a San Diego-based hotel chain.

LAW

Sidley Austin LLP, a Chicago-based law firm, has named Douglas Axel a partner in its downtown L.A. office. Previously, Axel was a former assistant U.S. attorney in the Central District of California.

Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP, a West L.A.-based law firm, has named Becca J. Wahlquist a partner in the West L.A. office. Previously, Wahlquist was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a Chicago-based law firm.

Murchison & Cumming LLP, a downtown L.A.-based law firm, has named Tim Agajanian of counsel. Previously, Agajanian was founder of Agajanian Law Group LLP, a downtown L.A. law firm.

Pircher Nichols & Meeks, a Century City-based real estate law firm, has promoted Alex Jacobs to partner in its Century City office. Previously, Jacobs was an associate at the firm.

Denso Sales California Inc., a Long Beach-based auto components distribution and sales company, has named David Shushereba senior manager. Previously, Shushereba was a director at K & N Engineering Inc., a Riverside auto parts manufacturer.

BeyondTrust, an Agoura Hills-based security software company, has named Bruce Aboudara vice president of North American sales. Previously, Aboudara was a director at Hewlett-Packard, a Palo Alto technology company.

KUDOS

The Los Angeles Lakers and Comerica Bank have honored Theresa Macellaro with the Los Angeles Women’s Business Award for Women of Entrepreneurship in recognition of her work in the legal industry. Macellaro is founder of the Macellaro Law Firm in Venice.
