SouthWest Water Co. said Monday it sold its wholesale wastewater business in Texas, bringing in $2.8 million.
The sale was part of the Los Angeles-based company’s plan to sell off its wholesale water and wastewater businesses in Texas. All of the operations were classified as discontinued operations.
SouthWest Water, which provides a variety of water and wastewater services to cities, utility districts and companies, has seen its stock price decline 71 percent over the past year. Shares were trading at $3.46 in morning trading on the Nasdaq.
