PC Mall Inc. said Wednesday that one of its units had acquired certain assets of Data Systems Worldwide Inc.

The Torrance computer products and services provider said DSW’s products help companies better use Cisco’s widely-used business and networking software to run their businesses. DSW sells throughout the western United States and has 20 employees. It becomes part of PC Mall’s Sarcom Inc. subsidiary.

DSW, based in Woodland Hills with offices in Las Vegas, had unaudited revenues of about $6.4 million in the nine months ended September 30.

“We are pleased to have completed a transaction that will significantly broaden our converged Cisco solutions portfolio, and enhance our managed and professional services capabilities,” Chief Executive Frank Khulusi said in a statement.

PC Mall shares were unchanged at $5.72 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
