Boston Private Financial Holdings Inc. has appointed V. Charles Jackson chief executive of its Encino-based affiliate First Private Bank & Trust. Jackson was previously president of Community Bank in Pasadena.
The Private Bank of California has hired Natalie Krouth as vice president and relationship manager and Tina Van der Zee as senior vice president and manager in its entertainment group. Previously, Krouth was vice president and senior banking officer in the entertainment division of City National Bank. Van der Zee was senior vice president of City National Bank's entertainment division.
C. Paul Wazzan has been named partner in the Beverly Hills office of Resolution Economics, an economics and statistical consulting firm also with offices in Chicago and San Francisco. Wazzan was previously a director for Navigant Consulting Inc., an international consulting firm with offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
Thomas E. Robinson has been named acting city manager for the city of La Mirada. Robinson previously served as community resources manager for the city.
Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, a California retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage firm headquartered in San Mateo, has named Mike Blecher principal, Chris McTigue managing principal and Ray Skarzenski principal of operations in its Los Angeles office. Blecher was previously managing director for the Los Angeles office of Beecher Carlson, an insurance and risk management brokerage. McTigue was executive vice president with the Los Angeles office of Aon, a risk management, reinsurance and human capital consulting firm. Skarzenski was senior vice president of property and casualty at Epic's Orange office.
Law firm Loeb & Loeb has promoted Marla Aspinwall, Linda Deitch and Neil Jannol to partners in its Los Angeles office. Previously, Aspinwall was counsel with the firm. Deitch was associate. Jannol was senior counsel.
Khorrami Pollard & Abir LLP, a Los Angeles law firm, has hired Deborah P. Gutierrez and Louis Pacella as associates. Gutierrez was previously an associate with L.A. firm Arias Ozzello & Gignac LLP. Pacella was an associate with Maranga Morgenstern, a Los Angeles law firm.
The Los Angeles office of law firm Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP has named Darryl Snider partner in the antitrust practice group. Snider was previously shareholder with the Los Angeles office of law firm Heller Ehrman LLP.
Mitchell Rubinstein has joined 1K Studios, a Burbank media production and marketing agency, as managing partner. Rubinstein was previously executive vice president of the original content and DVD divisions of Trailer Park, a Los Angeles creative marketing services firm.
Buzznet Inc., a Hollywood media company, has hired Alan Citron as executive vice president of special projects. Citron was previously general manager of Time Warner's TMZ.com.
Craig Rossi has been named director of sales for Citadel Broadcasting stations KABC-AM (790) and KLOS-FM (95.5). Previously, Rossi was president of the Western region for Citadel radio stations.
James J. Quinn has been appointed chief financial officer of Prototypes, a Culver City non-profit health organization. Quinn was previously chief financial officer and interim chief executive of the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles.
The California chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners, a non-profit research and leadership development foundation headquartered in Washington, D.C., have named Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire president and Renee Fraser vice president of corporate and economic development. Berkhemer-Credaire is president of Berkhemer Clayton Inc., a Los Angeles executive search firm. Fraser is chief executive of Fraser Communications, a Los Angeles advertising and marketing agency.
The Encino office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has named Jeff Benson, Matthew Friedman and Matthew Ziegler vice presidents of investments. Previously, Benson, Friedman and Ziegler served as associate vice presidents of investments with the firm.
The West Los Angeles office of Studley, a commercial real estate services firm, has promoted Corey Davidson to managing director of its national Corporate Services Group, which provides commercial tenants with strategic planning and financial structuring. Davidson was previously associate director with the group.
Gregory J. Maradei has been named vice president in the Los Angeles office of Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Real Estate Services. Maradei was previously vice president of Grubb & Ellis, a commercial real estate services firm.
Charles Dunn Co., a Los Angeles commercial real estate firm, has hired Benjamin J. Rosenberg as associate in its West Los Angeles office's investment services group. Rosenberg was previously an associate with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.
Wells Fargo has donated $10,000 to the Sova community food and resource
program of the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, a non-profit organization. The Sova program is dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty in the community through food distribution.
