Point.360, which provides integrated media management services, on Monday said it acquired the assets of Video Box Studios Inc., a provider of 3D animation, visual effects, motion design and digital finishing services.

Burbank-based Point.360’s chief executive, Haig Bagerdjian, said in a statement that he expects West Hollywood-based Video Box to add about $1.5 million in revenues in the first 12 months. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Video Box team will be relocated to Point.360’s facility in West Los Angeles.
