Wells Fargo has named Allan Bran assistant vice president and store manager for its 9000 W. Sunset Blvd. community banking store. Bran was previously assistant vice president and store manager with the bank's Daly Street community banking store in Lincoln Heights.

City National Bank has hired James E. Wullschleger as senior vice president and director of business banking. Wullschleger was previously senior vice president with First Bank.

Marcio Magalhaes has been named vice president and business development officer in the small-business banking division of Comerica Bank. Magalhaes was previously director of sales with American Sales Consulting, a broker advisory firm.


Stefan Boedeker has joined the Los Angeles office of Resolution Economics, a litigation and economic advisory firm, as partner. Boedeker was previously managing director of Navigant Consulting.


The Los Angeles Unified School District has appointed Roberta Bobbie Fesler general counsel. Fesler previously was senior assistant county counsel for the County of Los Angeles.

Stephen Rochelle has been appointed director of learning and leadership for the Loyola Marymount University Family of Schools, one of four partnerships being supported through Los Angeles Unified School District's Design Schools. Rochelle is principal of Orville Wright Middle School in Los Angeles.


Widget Post Production, a Los Angeles-based sound studio, has hired Rick Ash as re-recording mixer. Previously, Ash was a re-recording mixer at Todd-AO, a sound production studio.

Jacqueline Jourdain Hayes has been promoted to senior vice president of business and legal affairs at Warner Bros. Digital Distribution. Hayes was previously vice president of business and legal affairs with the studio.


Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP has appointed Carol A. Johnston co-chairwoman of its Los Angeles trusts and estates practice. Johnston is a partner at the firm's Los Angeles office.


Ipsh, a global mobile marketing agency, has hired Tania Mulry as vice president for client service in its Los Angeles office. Mulry was previously senior vice president of product development and customer monetization at Teleflip, a Santa Monica-based company providing mobile e-mail.


Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that provides daily means for people homebound or disabled by HIV, AIDS and other illnesses, has named Margaret Steele chief executive. Steele was previously director of development and communications with the organization.

Real Estate

John Z. Barr has joined the Los Angeles office of Fort Properties, a real estate investment firm, as vice president of marketing. Barr was previously regional manager and vice president of commercial real estate term-lending at Washington Mutual.


Jana Branch has been named vice president of brand communication for Bossa Nova, a Los Angeles-based beverage company. Branch previously served as vice president of consulting for Iconoculture, a consumer behavior research company.


The Los Angeles office of Ryan's Express Transportation Services has hired Patrick J. Cooney as general manager for Los Angeles and Orange County. Cooney was previously vice president of the western region for Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network.
