Live Nation Inc. said Thursday that it has signed platinum-selling artist the Jonas Brothers to a long term, worldwide touring agreement.

The group’s first concert under the deal will be on Jan. 31 in Tucson, Beverly Hills-based Live Nation said in a statement.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares in Live Nation closed up 1.6 percent Thursday to $14.36 in trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
