Internet Brands Buys Five Sites

Internet Brands Inc. said Tuesday that it has acquired five leisure activity Web sites for its consumer Internet division. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.


The El Segundo-based Internet company purchased FitDay.com, which provides online dieting and fitness tips; HighDefForums.com, HighDefDigest.com and AVRev.com, which are dedicated to high-definition home entertainment; and VetInfo.com, which features advice on pet health.


Shares in Internet Brands were down 6 cents to $7.05 in early trading Tuesday.
