Korn/Ferry International announced Friday that it has hired Stephen Giusto as its new chief financial officer.

Giusto was previously the CFO of staffing company Resources Connection Inc. for nearly eight years, the Los Angeles-based executive recruiting firm said in a statement.

Giusto, 45, replaces Gary Burnison, who was promoted to chief executive at Korn/Ferry three months ago.

Shares in Korn/Ferry were up 1.5 percent, or 28 cents, to $18.49 in afternoon trading Friday on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares had fallen 21 percent this year before today.
