Tetra Tech Inc. said Monday that it received contract for environmental clean-up services at Navy and Marine bases worth $100 million.
The contract was awarded by the Department of the Navy, which includes the Marine Corps, and will have the Pasadena-based environmental engineering and consulting firm clean up sites after the military leaves an installation.
Tetra Tech added that a majority of the work will be done on the West Coast, specifically in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Washington and Alaska.
Shares in Tetra Tech were up 1 percent, or 22 cents, to $22.08 in afternoon trading Monday on the Nasdaq. Shares are up 31 percent since the beginning of the year.
