CSC Lands $378 Million Contract

Computer Sciences Corp. said Monday that it has signed an information technology services contract with BlueScope Steel Ltd. worth a potential $378 million.


Under the agreement, the El Segundo-based information technology company will be responsible for managing and delivering IT services to the Melbourne, Australia steel company. Services will include consulting, applications development, disaster recovery, systems integration and end-user services on a variety of technology platforms.

CCS has provided similar services to BlueScope since May 2000 and is the company’s largest provider of IT services across Asia, New Zealand and North America.


Shares in CSC were down 55 cents to $51.24 in midday trading Monday.
