Bell Industries Inc. said Friday that it has appointed Kevin Thimjon as chief financial officer, effective Jan. 8.

Thimjon, 40, succeeds Mitchell Rosen, who is leaving the computer lifecycle management and recreational vehicle parts manufacturer to pursue other opportunities, the El Segundo-based company said in a statement. He will be based in Bell’s Indianapolis offices.

Thimjon previously served as CFO of Indianapolis-based Stanley Security Solutions Inc., and earned his accounting degree and CPA certification from Concordia College.

Shares in Bell were up 3 cents to $3.85 in midday trading Friday.
