Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. has begun offering its feature films on Apple Inc.’s iTunes Music Store.

Some of the Los Angeles-based studio’s films that will be available include “Dances With Wolves,” “Mad Max,” and “Rocky,” as well as some classics, the studio said. The downloads will cost $9.99 each.

The iTunes store offers more than five million songs, 350 television shows and more than 500 movies with the addition of the MGM catalog. However, iTunes movie offering is still tiny compared to Wal-Mart’s 3,000-title online roster.

Santa Monica-based Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., which also has an extensive library, went with iTunes for its online offerings earlier this year.
