Warner Music to Offer Videos On-Line

Warner Music Group Corp. said Thursday that it will offer its catalog of music videos to users of Brightcove, a Web TV service.


Warner will share advertising revenue generated on the site with Brightcove Inc., its Cambridge, Mass.-based operator.


This marks the first time the New York-based music label, which has offices in Burbank, will distribute videos directly to consumers.


Shares in Warner Music were up 39 cents in early trading Thursday to fell 12 cents to $25.24 and are up nearly 30 percent for the year.
