Nestl & #233; USA said it will keep its headquarters in Glendale until at least to 2015.

The Vevey, Switzerland-based food company said Monday that it had signed a lease extension with the building’s owner, Wells Real Estate Investment Trust.

Wells REIT acquired the 21-floor, 505,000-square-foot building at 800 N. Brand Blvd. in Glendale four years ago for $150 million. According to the agreement, Nestl & #233;, which occupied more than 500,000 square feet in the building, will give back close to 40,000 square feet over the next two years, including the top two floors, Wells REIT said.

The value of the new lease was not immediately available.
