Trio-Tech International said Friday that it has received three orders for burn-in systems, equipment used to test the heat reliability of circuits and microchips, worth $3.6 million. The systems will be delivered by the end of the year, Trio-Tech said.

Trio-Tech has seen much success lately, after posting strong annual earnings earlier this month; the Van Nuys-based tech company, which manufactures test equipment used by chip makers as well as provides chip-testing services, has seen its stock continue to climb, gaining 110 percent in the past two weeks to $12.92 and climbing in early trading Friday.
