Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corp. has named Vernon Moore partner in the audit and assurance department at its Long Beach and Orange County offices. Moore was formerly an accountant at Stonefield Josephson.
Jason Romano and Michael Ozen have been admitted to the partnership at the Los Angeles office of Moss Adams LLP. Romano is an advisor with the company; Ozen was chief financial officer at Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP.


Architecture

The Jerde Partnership, an architecture, planning and design firm based in Los Angeles, has hired Thomas Lehn as vice president and design principal. Lehn was recently design principal with Carrier Johnson in San Diego.


Banking & Finance

T. Candice Nakagawa has been named vice president for private banking in Comerica Bank's wealth and institutional management division in its downtown Los Angeles branch. Nakagawa was previously vice president and priority banking manager for Union Bank of California.


Green Dot Corp., a Monrovia-based provider of retailer-sold prepaid debit cards, has named John Keatley chief financial officer. Keatley was previously vice president of finance with the company.


Salem Partners, a Los Angeles-based investment bank and wealth management firm, has appointed Adam Meislik as managing director in its investment banking group. Meislik was formerly executive director with CIBC World Markets.


Armen Madatyan has joined CDC Small Business Finance as a commercial loan officer in its Pasadena office. Madatyan was previously vice president at Bank of America.


Charles B. Rooney has been elected to the Prudential Retirement Tax-Exempt Client Advisory Board. Rooney is currently vice president and chief human resources officer at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.


Consulting

Gladstein Neandross & Associates, an environmental and energy consulting firm based in Santa Monica, has hired Alan Basham as executive vice president. Basham was previously executive vice president for Clean Energy in Seal Beach.


Entertainment

Wow and Flutter West, a music production studio in Santa Monica, has named David Marcus director of operations. Prior to joining the company, Marcus worked as a freelance consultant for audio post studios.


Government

La Puente City Council has named Carol Cowley city manager, effective Jan. 1, 2007. Cowley currently serves as La Puente's director of administrative services and city clerk.


Health Care

Glendale Adventist Medical Center has named Morre Dean president and chief executive, effective Jan. 1, 2007. Dean recently served as president and chief executive at Walla Walla General Hospital in Washington.


Law

Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP has elected the following as partners at its Los Angeles office: Heather A. Morgan, employment law; Jason M. Frank, litigation; Derek V. Roth, real estate; Jennifer S. Yount and Arthur L. Zwickel, corporate. Morgan was previously of counsel; Frank, Roth, Yount and Zwickel were associates with the firm.


Marketing

Triton Media Group, a media marketing company with headquarters in Los Angeles, has hired Dominick Milano as executive vice president. Milano was recently a sales consultant to Entercom Communications and MusicToGo.


MRM Worldwide, a marketing agency within McCann Worldgroup, has hired David Glaze as senior vice president and creative director and John Shin as program director to its Los Angeles office. Glaze was previously vice president of creative at Genex in Culver City; Shin was director of acquisitions lead referral at Zag.com in Santa Monica.


Media

Fred Poston has been named vice president of operations at ReelzChannel, a television network featuring programming about movies. Poston was recently vice president of production operations for TV Guide Spot.


DreamWorks Studios has named Jeff Small chief operating officer. Small was formerly chief operating officer at Revolution Studios.


Jamie McCabe has been promoted to executive vice president of worldwide pay-per-view, video-on-demand and electronic sell-through for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. McCabe was senior vice president.


Non-Profit

The YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley has appointed Dianna M. Segura as executive director. Segura was chief executive of Segue Enterprises.


Real Estate

Rich Mazel has joined Wald Realty Advisors Inc., a private-client real estate investment advisor based in Los Angeles, as project manager. Mazel was previously regional asset manager for Pensions Inc. in Detroit.


Retail

Henry's Farmers Market has named Eric Kee store director of its San Pedro store. Kee was previously store director for Wild Oats Marketplace in Long Beach and Henry's in Yorba Linda.


Telecommunications

AT & T; has named Tim Harden president and chief executive of AT & T; West. Harden was president of network services for AT & T; Southwest.


Transportation

David Shuter was appointed to deputy executive director of project and facilities development services for the Los Angeles World Airports. Shuter was recently vice president and regional manager with Gannett Fleming.


KUDOS

The Anti-Defamation League will honor E. Randol Schoenberg and Rockwell A. Schanbel. at its Los Angeles celebration on Dec. 9. Schoenberg, who is a partner in Burris & Schoenberg, will receive the Jurisprudence Award for recovering Nazi-looted paintings by Gustav Klimt from Austria for Maria Altmann. Schnabel, chairman of the Sage Group LLC, will receive the Humanitarian Award for his body of work: He was U.S. ambassador to Finland from 2001-2005, and he is the author of "The Next Superpower?: The Rise of Europe and Its Challenge to the United States."
