Entravision Communications Corp. said Wednesday that it has completed an assessment of the accounting regarding its Dallas radio assets and will not have to restate its second quarter earrings.

The Santa Monica-based Spanish-language radio broadcaster announced the possible miscue last week in its third quarter earnings release, stating that it may have understated an income tax provision by as much as $6.5 million. However, the company said no error was found and past as well as present earnings numbers stand. The company posted a loss of $168 million (-$1.68 per share) for the second quarter.

Shares in Entravision were down 7 cents to $6.93 in early trading Wednesday.
