Oil Holds Steady on Economic Worries

Crude oil prices were steady Friday as concerns about Mideast fighting were weighed against comments by the U.S. Federal Reserve chief that surging energy prices are crimping economic growth, the Associated Press reports.


Light sweet crude for September delivery slipped 7 cents to $74.20 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
