partnered with mobile network company Ztar Mobile to launch the first Bratz-branded mobile phone. The phone, manufactured by Sony Ericsson, has wallpapers featuring the Bratz characters, voice ring tones and screen savers. Pre-paid calling plans are available as well as parental controls to restrict calls. The phone retails for $69.99 and will be available in select Wal-Mart stores nationwide.

Theme-park operator Euro Disney SCA said fiscal first-quarter sales rose 3.7 percent as the company filled more rooms at its hotels and guests spent more on food and beverages. Sales rose to $329 million as hotel revenue climbed 4 percent and theme-park sales edged up 4 percent, Bloomberg News reported. Euro Disney, which is 41-percent-owned by

won a $216 million contract from the U.S. Army to help it remove and dispose of unexploded bombs, shells and ammunition in various locations across Iraq for up to 36 months. The Pasadena-based engineering services company will support the Army’s Engineering and Support Center in the task.
