reported fourth-quarter net income of $23.4 million (29 cents per share), compared with $19.9 million (25 cents) for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the Calabasas Hills-based casual dining restaurant chain operator rose 23 percent to $328.3 million from $266.1 million in the year-prior period.


Fourth-quarter comparable restaurant sales increased 0.5 percent at Cheesecake Factory restaurants and 3.8 percent at Grand Lux Caf & #233; locations. Total same-store sales rose 0.7 percent.


- Maguire Properties Inc. reported a fourth-quarter net loss (before payment of preferred dividends) of $7.3 million (27 cents per share), compared with income of $6.4 million (4 cents) for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the L.A.-based real estate investment trust rose to $134.3 million from $88.3 million in the year-prior period.


The company reported Funds From Operations available to common shareholders of $31.3 million (58 cents per share), compared with $27.7 million (52 cents) a year earlier.


- LTC Properties Inc. reported fourth-quarter net income (before payment of preferred dividends) of $10.8 million (28 cents per share), compared with $9.2 million (23 cents) for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the Malibu-based healthcare real estate investment trust rose to $18.2 million from $15.2 million in the year-prior period.


The company reported Funds From Operations available to common shareholders of $11 million (46 cents per share), compared with $8.4 million (40 cents) a year earlier.


- Sport Chalet Inc. reported third-quarter net income of $3 million (22 cents per share), compared with $3.7 million (26 cents) for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the La Canada-based specialty sporting goods stores operator rose 3.7 percent to $99.7 million from $96.1 million in the year-prior period.


Third-quarter same store sales decreased 1.8 percent from a year earlier.
