Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday that it has received two new contracts and an extension on an existing contract. No financial terms were released for any of the contracts.

One contract for a subsidiary of the Pasadena-based engineering firm is with Borealis A/S, Europe’s second-largest plastics maker. Jacobs will provide engineering, design and construction management services for a polymer production facility in Burghausen, Germany. The new facility is scheduled to open in 2007.

The second contract was with Monheim, Germany-based Schwarz Pharma to provide engineering and procurement for the development of new pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facility at Schwarz Pharma’s manufacturing site in Shannon, Ireland.

Jacobs also received a one-year extension from the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to provide system-wide wastewater planning services through August 2007.

The district is responsible for managing wastewater and storm water collection and treatment for St. Louis and is part of a $3.7 billion city- and county-wide project for infrastructure improvements.
