American Reprographics Co. said Friday that it has acquired privately-held Elite Reprographics. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Elite operates three locations in Northern California, offering services to architectural, engineering and construction firms. The San Francisco-based firm had revenues of $5 million last year.

The acquisition helps position the Glendale-based business-to-business document management and services firm to capitalize on the windfall of engineering and architectural work that will be done across the state with the passage of a $42.7 billion state infrastructure bill and Proposition 84 last month, Chief Executive Mohan Chandramohan, said in a statement.

Shares in American Reprographics were flat at $32.99 early Friday.
