Dole Food Co. Inc. in Westlake Village promoted Javier H. Idrovo to president of Dole worldwide packaged foods. Idrovo was previously vice president and chief financial officer of the division.

The Torrance Memorial Medical Center promoted Craig Leach to president and chief executive. Leach was previously chief operating officer.


LivHome Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of personalized, at-home assisted-living services, re-hired Kirsten Goulde as vice president of human resources. Goulde had worked at LivHome from 2000 to 2004. She was most previously director of organizational development at American Golf Corp. in Los Angeles.


Insurance
Innovative Care Systems, a Torrance-based third-party claims administrator and unit of Keenan & Associates, named Henry R. Loubet chairman and Jerry Tamura chief operating officer. Loubet retains his previous title of chief strategy officer for Keenan & Associates, and Tamura retains his previous position of senior vice president, administration and services for Keenan.

Greenberg Traurig LLP in Los Angeles hired Amanda Laura Nye of counsel. Nye was previously counsel on the clearance, procurement and maintenance of foreign and domestic trademarks at King & Spalding LLP in Atlanta.

iMedia International Inc., a Santa Monica-based digital multimedia marketing and promotions company, hired Henry Williamson as president of newspaper syndication. Williamson was previously director of advertising for the Los Angeles Times.


The American Film Institute named Robert Mandel as dean of the AFI Conservatory. Mandel was previously a director for the Fox television show "Prison Break."


Buena Vista Games Inc., the Burbank-based interactive entertainment arm of Walt Disney Co., hired Raj Murari as vice president, strategic development and integration, and Mark Meyers as vice president, internal studios. Murari was previously vice president of finance at Disney Consumer Products in Burbank. Meyers was previously director at Redzone Studio in San Diego.


Cake Editorial, a Los Angeles-based production house, hired Michael Bennett as a director of marketing for Los Angeles. Bennett continues to independently represent production entities such as Lime Studios.

The Los Angeles Urban League, a community organization advancing equal opportunities for African Americans and other minorities, hired Blair Hamilton Taylor as president and chief executive. Taylor was previously executive vice president of College Summit, a national college access initiative aimed at increasing the college enrollment rates of low-income students.


P.S. Arts, a Santa Monica-based organization restoring the arts to public schools in Los Angeles, hired John R. Jackson as its director of development. Jackson was previously director of development at the Aquarium of the Pacific Long Beach.
