A leading gauge of the U.S. economy rose in the latest week due to stronger housing activity and higher stock prices, a report said on Friday.
The Economic Cycle Research Institute, an independent forecasting group, said its weekly leading index edged up to 135.8 in the week ended November 4, compared with 134.7 in the previous week.
