Brandlin & Associates, a provider of investigative accounting and consulting services, has named Gabor Herman senior consultant at its Los Angeles office. He was previously an accounting consultant at inCode Wireless.
Online game developer Webzen America Inc. has named Junhyun Kim general manager, Peter Matiss head of marketing and Jason Wonacott head of corporate communications. Kim previously worked for the firm's headquarters in Seoul. Matiss was formerly director of strategic marketing for Atari Inc., an interactive software publisher. Wonacott was director of corporate communications for Turbine Inc., an online games company.
John Barna was named deputy secretary of transportation of California's Business, Transportation and Housing Agency. The Glendale resident was formerly president of Anrab Associates.
City of Hope, the Duarte-based hospital and medical research center for cancer and other illnesses, named Tanya Mink vice president of development. Mink was formerly vice president for college advancement at Harvey Mudd College, where she was also chief development officer.
Herbalife Ltd. has appointed Kenneth Simon as vice president, worldwide taxation. He was most recently vice president for tax at Avon Products Inc.
