Dollar Up After CPI Data

The dollar rose to one-month highs against the euro and yen on Wednesday after U.S. consumer prices data was stronger than expected, suggesting the Federal Reserve could raise rates more aggressively than anticipated.


The euro slipped to around $1.2984 from around $1.3036 shortly before the report and down about 0.7 percent from levels late on Tuesday.
