PeopleSupport Inc.

PeopleSupport reported fourth-quarter net income of $3.3 million (18 cents per diluted share), compared with $3.1 million (23 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenues for the L.A.-based business process outsourcing provider rose 47 percent to $12.6 million.


The fourth quarter included charges of $5.3 million for payments under the company’s 2002 management incentive plan in connection with its initial public offering and a charge of $400,000 related to pre-IPO stock options. The company also recorded a $6.8 million income tax benefit associated with deferred tax valuation allowance adjustments.


For the first quarter of 2005, the company expects revenue to be between $12.8 million and $13.2 million, net income to be between $1.5 million and $1.8 million, and diluted earnings per share to be 8 to 9 cents.



Univision Communications Inc.


Univision Communications reported fourth-quarter net income of $67.2 million (19 cents per diluted share), compared with $58.9 million (17 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenues for the L.A.-based Spanish-language media giant rose 13 percent to $461.3 million.


The company said diluted earnings per share are expected to increase to between 10 and 11 cents in the first quarter of 2005 from 9 cents in the year earlier period.



Ducommun Inc.


Ducommun Inc. reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.9 million (18 cents per diluted share), compared with $5.1 million (51 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenues for the Carson-based aerospace components maker declined to $57.4 million from $58.3 million for the comparable year-ago period.


The company said fourth-quarter sales decreased due to a reduction in sales to the space shuttle program. Net income for the fourth quarter sank as a result of losses on several new contracts at Ducommun AeroStructures and higher operating costs in 2004 compared to 2003.



Innovo Group Inc.


Innovo Group reported fourth-quarter net income of $119,000 (4 cents per diluted share), compared with a loss of $5.8 million (23 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenues for the Commerce-based apparel and accessory firm declined to $30.1 million from $33.6 million for the comparable year-ago period.


The company attributed the decrease in fourth-quarter sales to the loss of its Shago and Fetish apparel products, which Innovo ceased producing during the latter half of fiscal 2004.
