Oil prices stayed above $51 a barrel Wednesday, holding onto some of the previous day’s gains as traders worried about the impact of a weaker dollar on energy markets.
Light sweet crude for April delivery fell 17 cents to $51.25 a barrel in afternoon trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Heating oil for March delivery rose less than a cent to $1.447 a gallon.
Brent crude rose 3 cents to $48.65 on the International Petroleum Exchange.
