announced that it merged with San Francisco-based landscape architecture firm EDAW Inc. to give it a foothold in the global market for project master planning. Financial details were not disclosed. EDAW, which has1,200 employees and $150 million in annual revenue, will operate as an AECOM company under the EDAW name. Los Angeles-based AECOM, a design and professional technical services company, has 22,000 employees and $2.5 billion in annual revenue.

said it received a delisting notification from Nasdaq on Nov. 18 because it is not in compliance with a rule that the company have a minimum of $10 million in stockholders’ equity for continued listing on the Nasdaq National Market.


But the Torrance-based online discount retailer said it has decided to move forward with its merger with PFSweb Inc., which was announced on Nov. 29. After the merger is completed, in the first quarter of 2006, eCOST will become a wholly owned subsidiary of PFSweb and each outstanding share of the company will be converted into one PFSweb common share. eCOST will then delist its securities from the Nasdaq National Market.



& #8226; True Religion Apparel Inc.

opened its first retail store at the Metlox Center in Manhattan Beach. The approximately 900-square-foot boutique store carries both men’s and women’s denim and non-denim collections, the L.A.-based apparel manufacturer and distributor said in a statement. The company will monitor store performance before making any decisions about whether to open additional stores.
