Michael Brady has been named co-executive producer at Visitor, a commercial production company located in Santa Monica. He will manage projects and talent. Brady joins the firm from Conspiracy, having opened the company's West Coast office.

Jennifer Ellison has been appointed an account executive at JMPR, a public relations firm in Woodland Hills specializing in automotive and lifestyle accounts. Prior to joining JMPR, Ellison served as an account executive at Jonisch Communications in Northridge.

Richard McKinnon has been appointed executive vice president of Murphy O'Brien Inc., a Santa Monica public relations company. He will oversee clients in the New Economy, e-commerce and high-tech industries. Previously, McKinnon was chief executive of McKinnon Co., which he founded.

Donna Sabino has been named vice president of the youth marketing team at Porter Novelli, a Los Angeles public relations firm. She will be responsible for leading youth campaigns. Previously, Sabino was at Nickelodeon, where she was director of research and planning. Also, Mimi Schulte has joined the firm as a vice president and will manage youth-related campaigns. Before joining Porter Novelli, Schulte ran her own consulting firm.


Baschar Hraki has been appointed vice president at Cuningham Design International, the Los Angeles branch of the Cuningham Group. He will be responsible for developing the firm's business in European markets. For the past 11 years, Hraki worked on design and construction for various Warner Bros. and Walt Disney Imagineering projects.

Banking & Finance

Troy Bosch has been named small-business marketing manager at Bank of America. He will be responsible for managing small-business efforts in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County. Bosch was previously small-business market manager for downtown Los Angeles and Whittier.

David Brundage and Madison F. Mulkey have been appointed field vice presidents for American Express Financial Advisors in Los Angeles. Brundage will be responsible for the supervision of 187 personal financial advisors and managers in four offices, serving clients in the Los Angeles metro area. Previously, Brundage was a district manager. Mulkey will oversee personal financial advisors and managers serving clients in Long Beach and West Los Angeles. Prior to his promotion, he was an associate vice president at the Long Beach office.

Gerald W. Parker has been appointed senior vice president and chief loan officer at Broadway Federal Bank in Los Angeles. His responsibilities will include overseeing all of the bank's lending functions, including loan origination, loan servicing and secondary market activities. Previously, Parker was a regional loan officer with La Jolla Bank.


Roberto Peccei has been appointed vice chancellor of research at UCLA in Los Angeles. He will oversee and promote the university's $530-million annual research effort. Peccei was previously a faculty member and administrator at UCLA.


Demmette Guidry has been named senior vice president of urban music for Warner Bros. Records Inc. He will be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing and promotional strategies for the company's entire urban music roster. Guidry was previously senior vice president of urban music for Columbia Records.

Brian Pope has been promoted to vice president, marketing services of Universal Studios Hollywood. He will be responsible for developing the marketing plans for new products and overseeing advertising. Pope has been with Universal Studios Hollywood since 1997. He was most recently director of brand marketing.

Jeremy Stephan has been promoted to vice president at Global Icons, an entertainment licensing and merchandising company in Los Angeles. Stephan was previously an associate vice president at the firm.

Sue Utley has been named administrative manager at BRC Imagination Arts in Burbank. She will oversee day-to-day operations and will develop and implement growth initiatives in the domestic and global markets. Utley was most recently a consultant at Harrison Price Co.


Holly Gandras-Smith has been promoted to director of national sales at Loews Santa Monica Hotel. She will be responsible for developing and servicing national accounts for the hotel chain on the West Coast. Gandras-Smith was previously director of sales.


Patrick J. McDonough has been appointed chair of the insurance law committee for the State Bar of California, a resource for insurance attorneys in California. McDonough will chair the committee through the close of the 2001 annual meeting of the State Bar. He is currently a partner at the Los Angeles law firm of Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey LLP.


Stuart Evans has been promoted to vice president, general sales manager at Fox Channel 11. Evans has been a local sales manager at the station since July 1997 and was responsible for overseeing the local sales effort. Before joining Fox 11, he worked at Harrington, Righter, Parsons as an account executive.

New Media

Janine M. Bushman has been appointed chief financial officer at Xdrive, an information access dot-com based in Santa Monica. Bushman was previously at, where she was chief financial officer.

Kelly Colbert has been named vice president of marketing at World of Net, a Sherman Oaks developer of online tools that help build Web site traffic. Colbert will be responsible for Web marketing services and launching online brands. Previously, she was a director and vice president of marketing at Bpath.


Lauren W. Deutsch has been appointed director of development for the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Little Tokyo, the largest Asian-American cultural center in the nation. Deutsch was formerly an executive producer of fund-raising and Asian-focused radio programs on KCRW-FM (89.9).

Richard M. Mosk has been appointed a mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, a not-for-profit public service organization that resolves disputes through arbitration, mediation, democratic elections or other voluntary procedures. His duties include dispute resolution for the Los Angeles regional office. Mosk was formerly a principal with Sanders, Barnet, Goldman, Simons & Mosk in Century City.


Don Spetner has been appointed senior vice president of global marketing and communications at Korn/Ferry International, an executive search firm in Los Angeles. He will oversee global branding, marketing, advertising and public relations. Spetner previously served as vice president of corporate communications at SunAmerica Inc.

Real Estate

David Hasbrouck has been appointed to the board of directors at Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate services firm in Los Angeles. In this role, Hasbrouck will aid the board in its decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, new markets, technology and resource allocation. Hasbrouck is currently an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield Inc.

John C. Moe has been appointed vice president of portfolio management at Divco West, a Los Angeles real estate investment company with a portfolio that includes 1 million square feet of space on Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Moe is responsible for overseeing assets in Southern California and Silicon Valley. Previously, he was regional vice president at Cornerstone Properties, with responsibilities for 26 office properties.

Malcolm O'Donnell has been appointed senior vice president and managing director for the Southern California region of CarrAmerica Realty Corp., a developer and operator of office properties in the United States. He will be responsible for CarrAmerica's Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego office portfolios. Previously, O'Donnell served as a principal of Alpine Holdings and Keller Equity Group Inc.
