Site visitors respond to a relatively brief if broad-sweeping questionnaire that touches upon such stump issues as campaign reform, tax cuts, gun control, abortion and the U.S.’s responsibility to the international community. The site then tabulates the visitor’s survey results, and ranks the eight Democratic and Republican candidates in terms of percent of shared interests and beliefs. A couple of test runs provided entirely reasonable results.

PresidentMatch.com also has a less interactive feature that provides a comparative breakdown of each presidential candidate’s stance on major issues.

The site is sponsored by AOL and CBS News, which conducted the interviews and distributed questionnaires to the candidates to obtain the information on which the site is based.
