Every holiday season, it's the same problem: What to wear to the big office party held right after work.

Some colleagues have the great fortune of living near the office, so they can slip into a festive party dress that looks perfect for a holiday soiree.

But for those working women living miles away and who don't want to bring a sparkly outfit to change into, apparel company T.T. Mar has the perfect solution.

The small Studio City-based company has come out with a holiday line called Luxe Exotica that lets you make the transition from work to party without having to change clothes.

"We wanted to design something classical that you could dress up or dress down," said Leslie Niskar, the 32-year-old owner of the firm. "Some of the clothes have more sex appeal, but they don't look like an evening dress."

The line, which is sold at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, Suji in Santa Monica and Leslie Boutique in Studio City, has an Asian look to it, with silky fabrics accented with embroidered flowers or beads.

There are pants, skirts and tops that mix and match and retail for between $60 and $160.

"We've always heard from women that they needed something that was in-between dressy that didn't cost a fortune," said Niskar, who started her company with $300 borrowed from her father. "So we designed this."

"Her stuff is great," said Jean Miller, a working woman who bought a black skirt trimmed in green beads. "I'll be able to wear this way beyond the holiday season."
