Kip Dellinger has been named partner-in-charge at Gaytan Kallman & Co., a management consulting, taxation and financial accounting firm in Los Angeles. He specializes in tax controversy matters and business consulting with an emphasis on real estate and aviation-related industries. Dellinger was previously a principal at Duitche & Franklin. Also, Anne Handley was named manager. She focuses her practice on real estate accounting. Handley was most recently an independent contractor at Duitche & Franklin.

Banking & Finance
Michael Wasson has been appointed head of institutional marketing for the western region at Fiduciary Trust Co. International. He will manage relationships with investment consultants, public funds and corporate funds. Wasson was most recently West Coast director of sales and client service at ABN AMRO Asset Management.


Entertainment

Peter Aronson was named president at Regency Television in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for current series and all future development and production activities. Aronson was previously senior vice president at Walt Disney Television.

Michael Davis has been promoted to vice president of sales at Universal Music and Video Distribution in Santa Monica. He will manage catalog activities of classical and jazz sales in North America. Davis was previously senior director of retail marketing and catalog, classics and jazz.

Dete Meserve has been promoted to executive vice president at Wind Dancer Production Group in Hollywood. She will oversee all business affairs, finance and administration. Meserve was previously senior vice president. Also, Roz Weisberg was promoted to director of development and production. She will be responsible for seeking out and developing new material and will oversee aspects of production. Weisberg was most recently executive assistant to the president.

Gary Rubin has been promoted to executive vice president at Artisan Entertainment in Santa Monica. He will oversee Artisan Television and acquisitions for direct-to-video and television material. Rubin was previously senior vice president.

High Tech

Kash Mohammadi was promoted to vice president of engineering at CreSenda Wireless, a provider of wireless communication solutions in Los Angeles. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, as well as evaluating emerging technologies. Mohammadi was previously director of engineering. Also, Keith Ramee was promoted to vice president of business development. He will oversee long-term business strategy. Ramee was formerly executive director of business development.

Hospitality

Andri Tscharner has been appointed executive chef at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. He will be responsible for all meals prepared and served in the Grille, Caf & #233;, Lobby Lounge and ballroom, along with 24-hour in-room dining. Tscharner was most recently Chef de Cuisine at Grand Hotel Euler in Switzerland. Also, Steven Alton King was named chef at the Grille. He will oversee menu creation, food preparation and service. King was previously sous chef at the Hyatt Regency in Beaver Creek, Colo.

Marketing

Beverly J. Kelly has been appointed art director at the Sparkman Co., a marketing communications company in Palos Verdes. She will oversee the production staff and will be responsible for executing art direction and graphics design and production. Also, Nathan Boldman has been named senior designer. He will execute graphic designs for print and the Web.

Media

Cheryl Carson has been named senior executive producer at Fox 11 News at 10. She will oversee all newscasts. Carson was most recently vice president of news at WGHP in Greensboro, N.C.

Chris Fredericks has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of the Motivational Incentives Group at Initiative Media North America, a media management company in Los Angeles. He will manage sales and operations, procure new business, oversee client services, and research and develop marketing strategies. Previously, Fredericks was a vice president.

New Media

Carl Hebeler has been appointed chief financial officer at Sbasoft Inc., an online data processing company in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for all financial aspects of the company. Hebeler was most recently chief financial officer at STV, a streaming media company in Santa Monica.

John O'Connor has been named senior vice president of operations at TrafficStation Inc., an online provider of traffic and travel information in Los Angeles. He will oversee growth and administration for Los Angeles-based operations. O'Connor was previously senior manager at Federal Express Corp. Also, Maylia Tsen was appointed senior vice president of sales. She will direct all aspects of corporate sales on a national level. Tsen was most recently vice president of business development involving technology and supply chain for supplyFORCE.com. In addition, Tassilo Baeuerle was named vice president of business strategy and development. He will oversee general business development plans and strategy. Baeuerle was previously a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Inc. Also, Brian Pendleton was named vice president of technology operations and information systems. He will work with all departments to ensure timely implementation of technological initiatives. Pendleton was previously director of information systems at Lexi International.

Sam Shmikler has been named senior director of knowledge and learning solutions at Legal Knowledge Co., an online service provider of legal knowledge tools and services in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for improving existing products and their delivery mechanisms, contributing to the development of new tools, and supporting the design and creation of new products. Shmikler was previously president at Periscope.

Bruce Stein was named chairman and chief executive at Radical Communication, a Marina del Rey provider of products that enable companies to develop relationships with consumers through the Internet. He will oversee strategy and development, and the growth and expansion of company operations. Stein was previously president and chief operating officer at Mattel. Also, Tom Wszalek was appointed president and chief operating officer. He will contribute to overall strategy and development, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. Wszalek was most recently senior vice president of digital television development at Walt Disney Television International.

Will Watson has been appointed senior manager of media strategy at BizRate.com, an online retail mall headquartered in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for managing the in-house department for online media. Watson was previously a consultant at marchFirst, iDeutsch and Agency.com.

Real Estate

Brian S. Corrigan was appointed senior managing director at Insignia/ESG Capital Advisors, a commercial real estate service provider in Los Angeles. He will oversee real estate sales and finance, mortgage banking and placement of structured debt, along with advising public and private real estate operating companies. Corrigan was most recently managing director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Securities.

Kevin Mansfield has been named vice president of acquisitions at NSB Associates, a Beverly Hills-based real estate developer. He will oversee acquisition efforts in Southern California and the West. Mansfield was previously vice president of acquisitions at Marinas International.

Robert Rosenthal has been promoted to director of corporate services at Cushman & Wakefield Inc., an international real estate services firm. He will be based in the Woodland Hills office and will oversee corporate services for the Western region. Rosenthal was previously account director. Also, Richard B. Grande was named senior director of agency leasing. He will oversee new leasing and management contracts. Grande was most recently vice president of marketing and leasing at Transwestern.

Nigel Stout has been promoted to associate vice president at Grubb & Ellis Co. in the Sherman Oaks office. His focus is industrial properties in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. Stout was previously a senior associate.
