Gaye Gwynn was appointed senior vice president of client services for FMJ Adcomm in Venice. She assumes responsibilities for supervising clients, including strategic, tactical, media and budget planning and for new business development. Gwynn was most recently account group supervisor at Pacific Communications.
Jennifer Leavens Sloan has joined Round 2 Communications in Los Angeles as senior national buyer. She will specialize in national television. Sloan was most recently with Western International Media.
Bonnie Wilks has been named vice president of sales and merchandise at Carol Wior Inc. in Los Angeles. She was previously president of Sirena Apparel Group's Sirena and WearAbouts divisions. Also, Lynn Staub was named vice president of private label and Felicia Villanueva was named national account executive at Carol Wior Inc.
Angela Thompson was named senior interior designer at Ware & Malcomb Architects in Woodland Hills. She will be responsible for interior design and tenant improvement projects. Thompson previously owned Thompson Design Associates in Agoura Hills.

Danielle Caston was appointed vice president of Pacific Coast Partners LLC in Los Angeles. She will be charged with expanding client services. Caston was previously a vice president of commercial real estate at Nomura Securities International Inc.
Jim Media was named vice president of Fidelity National Title's major accounts division in downtown Los Angeles. He will be responsible for client development among major real estate lending institutions throughout Southern California.
Mark Tabit was promoted to manager of Prudential Securities' Century City and Santa Monica branches. He was most recently regional development manager for the company's Los Angeles branches.
Kelly Williams has joined Environmental Contracting Corp. as a project superintendent. He will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of field activities of projects.
William Wu has been appointed operations manager for Project Management Associates' Southern California regional office in Pasadena. He will be in charge of management of short- and long-term marketing strategies, client relations and daily operations.
Drew Bourneuf was promoted to supervising producer for QuickBand Networks in Hollywood. He will oversee production of DVD products. Bourneuf was previously an independent producer of short films.
Sony Pictures Entertainment named three co-presidents, who will share oversight of day-to-day operations. Two of those co-presidents will also have the title of chief operating officer. They are Mel Harris, who is returning to Sony, and Bob Wynne. Harris will focus on worldwide television and related businesses and Wynne will manage corporate and financial operations. The other co-president is Masayuki Nozoe, who will focus on Sony's digital studios division and its technology expansion.
Naomi Pollock was named senior vice president of marketing for Artisan Home Entertainment in Los Angeles. She will oversee marketing for VHS and DVD product launches. Pollock was most recently vice president of strategic marketing for Universal Studio's home entertainment division.
Mara Santino was named a director at Kazarian, Spencer & Associates in Los Angeles. She will head up the agency's theatrical department. Santino was formerly with the Benson Agency.
Dan Watanabe was promoted to vice president of current programming for Pearson Television in Santa Monica. He will continue to oversee production on "Baywatch Hawaii" and will be involved in development of dramatic programming for domestic and foreign markets. Watanabe was previously director of current programming.
Jeanne Marie Kiss was promoted to vice president in the payor/provider consulting practice of Computer Science Corp.'s Healthcare Group in El Segundo. She will oversee all operations and administrative functions of the practice, including finance and human resources. Kiss was most recently general manager of consulting for the Eastern region.
Joseph Epps has been named of counsel to Jenkens & Gilchrist in Los Angeles. He will practice in the health care practice group. Epps was previously a partner in the health law department of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP.
Jim Ritchie was named general manager of Mercury Air Centers' fixed base operations at Los Angeles Airport. He will manage ground service operations. Ritchie was most recently a consultant to Orange County on possible future uses for its El Toro Marine Base property.
Len York has been appointed chief financial officer for Precision Specialty Metals Inc. in Los Angeles. He was formerly a principal in Osnos & Co. in Charlotte, N.C.
Leslie Smith has been promoted to director of advertising for La Opini & #243;n in Los Angeles. She will direct the activities of the classified and display advertising departments and the advertising services department. Smith was formerly director of classified advertising. Also, Daniel Cruey has been named director of circulation. He will direct the newspaper's circulation operations throughout Southern California, including the introduction of home delivery. He will be responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of the daily newspaper. Cruey was previously with the San Francisco Chronicle.

Also, Jan Smith was promoted to executive vice president of Disney Interactive's software development business. She is responsible for worldwide operations of the division, including product development, marketing, finance and administration. Smith was previously vice president and group publisher of Disney Publishing for Children.
Mark Goldin was promoted to president of Elite.com Inc. in Los Angeles. He will oversee the launch of the Elite Information Group subsidiary. Goldin was previously senior vice president and chief technical officer.

Erik Hernandez was named director of information and marketing services for the Seeley Co. in Los Angeles. He was most recently director of information services for Lee & Associates in Ontario.
Stephen Schmidt was named to the new post of senior vice president of residential community development for the Newhall Land and Farming Co. in Valencia. He will assume responsibility for all new properties. Schmidt was previously with the company between 1976 and 1992.
Norah Morley was appointed senior vice president of marketing for Smart & Final Inc. in Los Angeles. She will have overall marketing responsibility for promoting grocery stores and food service distributors. Morely was most recently senior vice president of marketing, buying and distribution for the Sweet Factory.
