Eric Koehler has joined Campbell-Ewald/West as a vice president and management supervisor. Prior to joining, Koehler was an account supervisor with BBDO Advertising.
Leila Winick has been named director of international accounts/Latin America with L.A.-based Western Initiative Media Worldwide. Winick will be responsible for coordinating international media activities in Latin America for WIMW accounts in this country and Latin America, while implementing campaigns in America and Canada. Previously, Winick supervised WIMW's multicultural account service groups in L.A. and Miami.
Suzanne Marie Gutierrez has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for PROMAX & BDA. Based in the L.A. headquarters, Gutierrez will oversee sponsorships of all worldwide conferences, as well as advertising sales for publications. Previously, she was studio representative for Variety.

Kevin Campbell has been named Bank of America's small-business banking area executive in the Southeast L.A. area. He is responsible for sales and relationship management for customers. Campbell has been vice president of commercial sales at the bank's L.A. main branch for five years. Also, Karen Racusin has been named Bank of America's small-business banking area executive in West Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Previously, Racusin was a manager in the bank's training division.
Gary Mozer, a founding partner of the Century City-based George Smith Partners Inc., has been named chief executive. Mozer will be more involved in strategic planning, training and business development.
Steven J. Ryan has been named credit risk management executive for Bank of America in Southern California. Ryan is responsible for managing credit in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Fernando Valley and Ventura areas. Previously, Ryan was senior vice president and regional market manager of the Century City commercial banking office.
Charles Troe has been promoted to managing director at Barrington Associates. He is responsible for merger and acquisition, and corporate finance transactions in various industries. Troe joined the firm in 1994 and was most recently senior vice president.
Daniel Woerner has been named chief executive of Mellon 1st Business Bank. He will have overall responsibility for the direction and performance of the bank. In addition, Klaus Schilling has been promoted to chief operating officer. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations. Both will be based at Mellon's downtown L.A. headquarters.
A. Frederick Gerstell has been named vice chairman and made a director of Vulcan Materials Co. Based in Beverly Hills, he will be involved in strategic planning and corporate development. Gerstell was formerly chairman and chief executive of CalMat Co.
Santa Monica-based Psomas has named three senior executives as principals of the firm. Kevin Hunt is a specialist in water resources management, pipeline design and wastewater reclamation and reuse. Wayne Smith has experience in development planning, land-use entitlement processing, environmental compliance and coastal and transportation planning. Lee Whiteley specializes in right-of-way engineering, legal descriptions, design mapping and utility detection and location.
Elizabeth Carroll has been promoted to senior vice president of production at MGM Pictures, based in Santa Monica. She will continue to be responsible for developing and packaging films and overseeing production. Most recently, Carroll was vice president of development at MGM.
Bill Jameson has been named chief counsel for Glendale-based Cigna HealthCare of California. He will be responsible for managing legal and public affairs, overseeing health plan compliance with state laws and regulations, and providing assistance on legal disputes with third parties. Jameson joined Cigna in 1995.
Eugene & Associates Inc., parent company of Chaya Brasserie and Chaya Venice, has promoted Lawrence Moore to general manager at Chaya Brasserie in Beverly Hills. Moore will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff and guest relations and in-house promotions. Carlos Perez has been promoted to general manager at Chaya Venice. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations, off-site lunch catering, in-house promotions and guest relations.
Bryan Monfort has been promoted to group supervisor for Lawry's Restaurants Inc. He will oversee management and operation of restaurants in Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas and Las Vegas. He will continue to be based in Beverly Hills.
Lori Puccinelli has been named director of entertainment alliances for Planet Hollywood International. She will develop and coordinate studio-related tours and promotions as well as overseeing Beverly Hills public relations events. Most recently, Puccinelli was regional manager for San Francisco, Seattle, Hawaii and Lake Tahoe. Also, Greg Mielcarz has been named regional public relations manager. He will oversee all promotional efforts for the Western region. Both will be based in Beverly Hills.
Mark Robertson has been promoted to vice president and counsel at Hilton Hotels Corp. His responsibilities include franchise development and operations (domestic and international), information systems and technology, and hotel operations. Robertson joined Hilton in 1995 as counsel and vice president of Conrad International Hotels.
George Abele has been promoted to partner at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP. As an employment attorney, Abele represents clients in wrongful discharge, discrimination and sexual harassment litigation, as well as in more traditional labor law matters.
Joe Mark has joined the L.A. office of Russ, August & Kabat as a senior associate. He will practice trial and business litigation in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution forums. Previously, Mark was a partner at Baker & McKenzie.
Sean Clarke has been named account executive at Scapa Tapes North America, a pressure-sensitive adhesive film manufacturer. Based in Redondo Beach, Clarke will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the Southern California market. Previously, he worked in sales for Anchor Continental in Canada.
Jeff Curtis has been named marketing director of Brentwood-based Trillium Digital Systems Inc. Curtis will direct the activities of the marketing department. Most recently, Curtis was vice president of sales in the Americas and Asia for Vertel.
Tim Krass has been appointed senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing for Santa Monica-based Intertainer Inc. He will develop and maintain all national relationships with cable and telecommunications operators. Formerly, Krass was senior vice president of affiliate sales for Fox/Liberty Networks and Fox Sports Net
Mei Waplington has been named chief operating officer for the L.A. office of iXL Inc. Her responsibilities will include project management and operations of the office. Previously, Waplington was a certified project executive of IBM's global services division.
Victor Greer has joined the Westwood office of RHI Consulting as division director. His responsibilities will include building and developing client relationships, recruiting candidates and job placement. Previously, Greer was a contracts manager at Aerotek Inc.
John Moe[piclanm3-1] has been appointed vice president in charge of leasing in the Southwest region for the Los Angeles office of Wilson-Cornerstone, the Western operating division of Cornerstone Properties. His responsibilities include the leasing and marketing of class-A office properties. Prior to joining, Moe served as vice president of asset management and leasing for Maguire Thomas Partners.
Kipling Sheppard has been promoted to senior vice president and national director of acquisitions at Kaufman Broad in Long Beach. Sheppard's responsibilities include overseeing all acquisitions, financing, and project development activities nationwide on behalf of KBMH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaufman and Broad Home Corp. Sheppard was previously the Western division vice president and director of acquisitions.
