Carl Meseck has been elected president of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Commission. He will focus on the proposed replacement terminal project at Burbank Airport. Meseck was previously vice president and secretary of the commission. Pasadena Commissioner Chris Holden will replace Meseck as vice president.

Peter Brzycki has been named to the new post of senior vice president and director of administration at the Los Angeles office of U.S. Trust Co. He will be responsible for overseeing finance, facilities, systems, operations and compliance for the West Coast. Byzycki was previously director of information services for Pacific Homes in Woodland Hills.
Alan Cohen has been promoted to vice president and general counsel for Toyota Motor Credit Corp. in Torrance. He is responsible for overseeing the legal department. Cohen joined Toyota in 1986.
Robin Ferracone has been named chairwoman of SCA Consulting in Los Angeles. She will oversee expansion of the company and work with clients on shareholder value and compensation issues. Ferracone was a co-founder of the firm.
Iraj Borbor [picsfvnm8-9] was named dean of DeVry Institute of Technology's West Hills campus. He will help establish the Institute's third Southern California campus. Borbor has been the institute's dean of technology since 1988.
Murray Wood has been appointed associate vice president of development for Cal State University Northridge. Wood was previously southwest regional director of American Associates of Ben-Gurion University in Israel. Also, Suzanne Hackett was named CSUN's acting director of campaigns. She was most recently executive director of the San Fernando Valley Cultural Center.
Leonard Evans and Douglas Santo have been tapped to manage the division operations of Willdan's new office and laboratory in Baldwin Park, serving the company's 12 offices in California, Arizona and Nevada. Also, Jean Blythe has been named human resources manager. She was previously vice president of human resources for Wells Fargo Bank.
Douglas Reinhart was appointed president and chief executive of ASL Consulting Engineers in Pasadena. He was previously chief operating officer and senior vice president.
Alan Auerbach has been named account executive of advertising and promotion sales at the National Association of Television Program Executives in Santa Monica. He is responsible for marketing, print advertising, promotions and signage for NATPE's annual conference and exhibition. Also, Nina Steiner was appointed director of new-media sales. She will focus on attracting new-media members and exhibitors to the association. Steiner most recently produced VentureNet 98 and 99.
Kathy Busby [picsfvnm8-9] has been named vice president of development for Carsey-Werner in Studio City. She will be involved in overall development of new projects. Busby was formerly director of comedy development for Studios USA Television.
PJ Foley [picsfvnm8-9] was named computer graphics animation director for Foundation Imaging in Valencia. He is currently working on the upcoming TV series "Starship Troopers: Bug Wars." Foley was formerly a co-owner of Grafiqs Inc. in Detroit.
Bruce Palmore has been named vice president and controller of Iwerks Entertainment Inc. in Burbank. Palmore will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance departments. Also, T.J. Majauskas was named director of financial planning. He was previously director of financial administration at Warner Bros. In addition, Phil Hill was promoted to vice president of engineering, and Don Stults has been named vice president of operations. Stults was formerly with Pioneer Electronics.
Jason Reed was promoted to vice president of Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group in Burbank. He will oversee development and production of motion picture projects. Reed was previously a creative executive and director of Touchstone Pictures.
William Sutman was appointed vice president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios in Universal City. He will be responsible for overseeing all worldwide financial activities for the Universal Studios Group. Sutman was most recently chief financial officer for Universal Pictures.
George Dehuff has been appointed interim chief executive of Total Renal Care Inc. in Torrance. He will oversee all operations of the company. DeHuff was previously chief executive of American Medical Response.
Anthony Keats, Larry McFarland and Dennis Wilson have established the law firm of Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP in Beverly Hills. Keats was formerly the leader of Baker & Hostetler LLP's intellectual property practice. McFarland was most recently an intellectual property litigator for Baker & Hostetler LLP. Wilson has litigated domain name infringement actions, and developed and directed online protection and enforcement programs.
David Schindler will join the technology litigation practice at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles as partner. He was previously a federal prosecutor and supervisor in the United States Attorney's Office.
101 Communications LLC in Van Nuys has announced four executive additions: Sheryl Katz has been named vice president of corporate development and corporate counsel. She was most recently senior product manager for Quarterdeck Corp.'s software developer products. Christine Oldenbrook was named vice president of circulation. She was previously vice president of circulation and database marketing for 19 publications at Bobit Publishing in Torrance. Esther Pagliarulo has been appointed vice president of marketing and Internet. She was most recently director of enterprise, and OEM channel development for Quarterdeck Corp. Bradford Stauffer was named vice president of production and manufacturing. He was previously with Creative Age Publications.

Michael La Roque has joined Daum Commercial Real Estate Services in Woodland Hills as executive vice president and partner. Also, Lynn La Roque was named vice president. Both specialize in industrial and office properties. In addition, Keith Green has been named vice president of office services. He was previously vice president of the Seeley Co. in Encino.
David Stairs has been appointed general manager of the Los Angeles region for WinStar for Buildings in downtown Los Angeles. He will oversee efforts to secure agreements with network-qualified buildings in Los Angeles County. Stairs was previously regional vice president for North America Building Management Corp. in West L.A.
Steven Barbee has joined Zyan Communications in Los Angeles as vice president of sales. He will develop business operation plans for exceeding sales revenue projections. Barbee was previously senior city director of Level 3 Communications.
Carolyn Cox was named director of foundations and endowment development for Fairplex in Pomona. She will be responsible for fund raising for the Los Angeles County Fair Association's non-profit organizations, including the Fairplex Education Foundation. Her duties include grant writing and charitable giving from government, private and philanthropic foundations. Cox was most recently with PFF Bank & Trust.
Dianne Greenberg-Dilena has been appointed director of catering for Shutters on the Beach Hotel in Santa Monica. She is responsible for sales, solicitation, planning and coordination of all corporate and social events. Greenberg-Dilena was formerly director of catering at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
