Robert J. Schlener has been named partner at Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP. Schlener will be based in the Los Angeles office.


Bill Bagnall has been named director of client services for Cerritos-based Aubrey & Associates Inc. He will oversee client services and business development for the agency. Bagnall previously was senior account executive.


Marcia Babalas has been named principal of Mel & #233;ndrez Associates Landscape Architecture of Los Angeles. She has also assumed the role of director of design. Brian Mitchell has also been named principal.


James F. Kleerup has been appointed senior vice president of corporate facilities at the Los Angeles office of Imperial Bank. Kleerup will be responsible for planning, developing and managing all facilities, as well as managing all purchasing for the company. He previously was operations manager at Osowski Construction Co. In addition, Ellen P. Becht has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate and strategic planning. She previously was in credit policy and administration, overseeing First Interstate Bancorp's loan portfolio.


Kevin Beggs has been appointed senior vice president of drama development at Lions Gate Media. Beggs will be based in Los Angeles and will be responsible for developing one-hour dramas with a particular focus on cable, syndication and the international marketplace. He previously served as a producer for "Baywatch."

Dan Fiala has been appointed chief operating officer of Los Angeles-based Showstar Entertainment Corp.'s new entertainment management division. Fiala formerly was director of concert management at DBP Inc.

High Tech

Christine Malcolm has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of provider solutions at El Segundo-based Computer Sciences Corp. Malcolm will oversee development and commercialization of the company's provider solution set. She previously was at the University Health System Consortium.

Denis Richard has been appointed president and chief executive of Woodland Hills-based Incomnet Inc. Richard previously was vice president of law & corporate affairs of Teleglobe International Corp.

Charles Wilson has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing worldwide at Valencia-based 3D Systems Corp. Wilson previously was president and chief executive of Axil Computer Inc., a subsidiary of Hyundai Electronics America.


Harriet B. Alexson has joined the Los Angeles office of Loeb & Loeb LLP as a real estate partner. Alexson previously was of counsel with Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger.

Jonathan Curtis has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP's real estate department as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Curtis' real estate practice focuses on acquisition, development, land use and construction. He previously was an attorney with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.
