Health Care Deja Vu

It seems that certain groups think California voters don’t understand democracy. Why else would these groups, the ones that purport to advocate for our best interests, take the same tired health care proposals to the Legislature after we defeated them in the 1996 election? This session, our legislators face a bevy of anti-business bills that threaten the economic stability California has finally embraced. Not only do these health care proposals mean higher taxes, but they also contain more regulations and more frivolous lawsuits all job-killers that only benefit those sponsoring the legislation.

It was hoped the Legislature was listening when we rejected these inept measures last November.
