LA500 2025: Neil Druckmann

Neil Druckmann

Co-President
Naughty Dog

Naughty Dog, one of the earliest games studios in Los Angeles that is still standing, was created by Druckmann in 2004. After the studio released “The Last of Us Part II,” a popular game that reached franchise potential with a subsequent television series on MAX, he became the studio’s president in 2020. The Last of Us franchise, a post-apocalyptic zombie story told through the lens of its survivors, made over $1 billion in revenue in 2023. Druckmann has been a vocal advocate for gamers leading film and television adaptations of their works and had a big hand in the development of the popular short series – he directed, wrote and produced several episodes of the show.
