U.S. HealthWorks on Wednesday said it has entered the Illinois market with the acquisition of three Chicago-area occupational medicine and urgent care centers.
Terms of the deal, which closed Tuesday, were not disclosed. Valencia-based U.S. HealthWorks, a subsidiary of Dignity Health, said the centers are located in downtown Chicago and the suburbs of Bellwood and Schiller Park.
The acquisition brings U.S. HealthWorks’ network of occupational medicine and urgent care facilities to 182 clinics in 17 states.
