Mira Hashmall is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney who specializes in labor and employment. She is sought out to defend private and public employers in high stakes litigation involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, disability discrimination and accommodation, and family and medical leave rights. She was named Employment Lawyer of the Year 2021 by the Century City Bar Association.
In a ruling recognized as a Daily Journal Top Defense Verdict in 2020, Hashmall won summary judgment on behalf of the County of Los Angeles in a FLSA class action lawsuit relating to the State of California’s IHSS program, in which plaintiffs sought nearly $50 million. Also, In December 2021, Hashmall won a summary judgment on behalf of the County of Los Angeles in an action filed by an employee against the County and other employees and supervisors employed by the County.
