Gary Hecker has more than 40 years of legal experience in technology and entertainment law in the Los Angeles market. He began his career as a power systems engineer before attending law school at the University of San Diego School of Law. His engineering background combined with his love for entertainment positioned Hecker for a dynamic legal career during which he has had the privilege of representing many of the nation’s leading technology companies in patent, trademark, and copyright law, as well as celebrities and entertainment clients.
Throughout his legal career, Hecker has been known as the tech-savvy, go-to lawyer for the businesses of well-known technology and entertainment leaders in the California region, including luminaries such as Steve Jobs, Steven Spielberg, Mark Burnett, and Maria Shriver. He also testified twice on behalf of Apple before the U.S. House of Representatives.
