Electric vehicle charging equipment manufacturer Evocharge Inc., based in Downtown, was acquired March 20 by heavy equipment control developer Phillips & Temro Industries Inc.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Founded 2009, Evocharge lists downtown-based real estate firm CBRE Inc. and the City of Santa Cruz among its existing customers. Whittier-based online electronics retailer Newegg Inc. is an authorized reseller of Evocharge charging cables and stations.

“We look forward to partnering with the Phillips & Temro and Harbour Group teams. Combining our electric vehicle charging solutions with Phillips & Temro’s product set on a global scale is a great outcome for our business,” said Evocharge founder Josh Kiewic in a statement.
