MOCA Director Vergne Leaving Museum

The Museum of Contemporary Art will part ways with museum director Philippe Vergne, when his five-year contract expires next year.

According to ArtNet, rumors that Vergne was leaving the position started after he fired chief curator Helen Molesworth two months ago.

The French-born Vergne was named to the position following Jeffrey Deitch, a New York gallery owner.
