Ronald Sugar is a board member of Chevron, Air Lease Corp., Amgen Inc. and Apple Inc. He is a senior adviser to various businesses and organizations, including Ares Management, a leading private investment firm; the World 50, which enables peer-to-peer exchanges for current and former senior executives from some of the world’s largest companies; and Bain & Co., the global consulting firm. He has also been involved with various nonprofit organizations including Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Sugar was chairman and chief executive of global security and defense company Northrop Grumman until his retirement in 2010.
